More Thanksgiving, Smiling Baby, and other stuff!

As promised, here is the whole fam at Thanksgiving dinner:

I like this picture because I caught my mom in the act. Note to Mom: You are supposed to wait until AFTER Thanksgiving dinner to wrap the leftovers in tin foil and discretely slip them into your purse....(I'm not sure what she is really holding there)

Andreas has been having a small smile window recently right after he eats and before he gets fussy and wants to sleep (like I said -- a small window). I have tried to capture it in these pictures, but he gets confused by the camera, so it is a bit of a challenge.

Here is Andreas during Thanksgiving Dinner (no doubt contemplating how he can eat the pumpkin pie while we are not looking):

Here are our stocking for this year -- Saul insisted on the last one for Andreas, and yes, it does have sounds and plays Holly Jolly Christmas:
And here is Saul with his latest best friend:

Thanksgiving 2009

Grandma and Grandpa Z came to visit for Thanksgiving in Houston this year and good times were had by all! The week was filled with happy babies, screaming babies, good food, shopping, and lots of fun. More pictures of Thanksgiving dinner with Sam, Tiffany, Zoe, Grandma & Grandpa Z are soon to follow. The turkey outfit, although generally considered to be a form of torture, was so cute that I couldn't resist -- check it out!

Somewhat smiling...

Andreas is Here!

October 28, 2009 at 11:52am we finally met Andreas Asher Andaverde face to face. He is a beautiful healthy baby and his mom and dad couldn't be prouder. Most say he is Saul's mini-me, and I have to say that I agree. Check out the pictures!

We brought him home on Halloween:

Happy to be at home at last:One of his favorite positions -- what we call "phoning the operator":
This picture probably is the most like how he normally looks:

Notice the cleft in his chin -- it was one of the first things the nurses mentioned:And the amount of hair...With Grandpa Z (our hero):
One of his supermodel bathing moments:
